Nintendo has a lot of new things planned for their fans in the coming months, but of course, the information will be revealed in due time. However, a NeoGAF user with the name ‘Trevelyan9999’ has leaked some vital information which shows a list of games Nintendo has planned for 2016. The same user is also a popular Youtuber and discusses various Nintendo related rumors in his videos.
What’s surprising is that the list was published on February 22nd and indicated that the new Pokémon game will be launched this fall and last Friday, Nintendo confirmed the release of Pokémon Sun and Moon for 3DS.
Other important games which are due to release include “The Legend of Zelda”, “Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King and Mario” & “Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games”. Other games are strictly given code names such as “Caviar F” and “Torte City.”
Even more interesting information which this document reveals is that Nintendo has a new platform, codenamed ‘NX’ scheduled to release this holiday season. This console will feature a wireless HDMI dongle which means you can attach it to any display with an HDMI output. The Legend of Zelda will probably launch on this new platform as well as on the Wii U.
The NeoGAF post also shared the marketing budget allocated to Wii U for the year 2016, which is $34.5 million. The 3DS console’s marketing budget stands at $56.25 million for this year.
